It is produced by thermal polymerisation of ordinary sulphur, the number of sulphur atoms on the molecular chain is as high as 108 or more, it has the viscoelasticity and molecular weight distribution of polymer, so it is also called elastic sulphur or polymerised sulphur, it belongs to inorganic macromolecular chemical raw materials.
