With the continuous development and improvement of social level and production technology, the use of sulfur powder in daily life can be said to be extremely extensive. And sulfur powder is a common chemical product. What should I do if I accidentally come into contact with sulfur powder? The sulfur powder manufacturer here briefly introduces the first aid methods for sulfur contamination:
Skin contact: Remove clothing contaminated with sulfur and thoroughly rinse the skin with soap and water.
Sulfur in contact with eyes: Lift the eyelids, rinse with flowing water or physiological saline, and seek medical attention.
Inhalation of sulfur: Quickly leave the scene to a place with fresh air, and maintain unobstructed respiratory tract. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing stops, immediately perform artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion of sulfur: Drink plenty of warm water, induce vomiting, and seek medical attention.
Fire extinguishing method for sulfur combustion: In case of small fire, suffocate with sand and soil. In case of a large fire, mist like water can be used to rescue the fire. Do not direct the water flow onto the molten material to avoid causing serious activity fires or violent boiling splashes. Firefighters must wear gas masks and be rescued from a safe distance in the upwind direction.
