Sulfur powder is a thermoplastic material used in concrete, and its construction method is completely different from ordinary concrete. Mainly using heating pouring molding process.
Sulfur powder should first be melted and dehydrated at a temperature of 130-150, and then powder should be added; Aggregates should also be heated, generally not exceeding 60 ℃. The thickness of each layer of stones shall not exceed 40cm and pouring holes shall be reserved. The pouring process cannot be interrupted, and the horizontal construction joints of each layer should expose stones to facilitate the connection with the previous layer.
Sulfur concrete is mainly composed of sulfur and coarse and fine aggregates, with a small amount of toughening agent added. It has good corrosion resistance and compactness, with a compressive strength of over 40MPa after 48 hours, and can reach 65% of its ultimate strength after half an hour of pouring. The sulfur powder manufacturer stated that sulfur concrete is a new type of building material, which was successfully developed in China in 1965 and included in the national standard (TJ212-76) in 1976.
Here, it should be noted that sulfur blocks are the bonding material of sulfur concrete, which is a light solid at room temperature and has a relative density of 2 07, melting point 112.8 ℃, boiling point 444.6 ℃, will form different allotropes and different states of solid, liquid, and gas at different temperatures.
