Insoluble sulfur is a polymeric sulfur that is insoluble in carbon disulfide and water, as well as in rubber. It is only uniformly dispersed in the mixed rubber and does not spray out of the surface during cooling and storage of the rubber material.
Insoluble sulfur is an excellent rubber vulcanizing agent, which is a chain like polymer of sulfur. Compared with ordinary sulfur, the difference lies in the following points:
1. No frost spraying, no worry of frost spraying when the dosage increases;
2. Shorten vulcanization time and reduce dosage;
3. No early vulcanization occurs;
4. The adhesive material maintains good viscosity;
5. Rubber products are more wear-resistant and anti-aging.
