As sulphur powder suppliers, we have to tell you some instructions for use. Sulphur powder (cas number 7704 34 9 or cas 9035 99 8) appearance of light yellow brittle crystals or powder, is a non-metallic monomaterial element, the odour is very heavy, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, ether, easily soluble in carbon disulphide, is a good insulator of electricity and heat, is a class 4 flammable solids, the physical properties of sulphur in these times and chemical properties.

Sulphur powder has different specifications such as industrial grade, rubber grade, refined and deacidified, with fineness of 200 mesh, 325 mesh, 400 mesh and 500 mesh. Packaging is 25kg or 40kg net weight per bag, outer plastic coated woven bag and inner plastic bag. Employees who come into contact with sulphur generally do not need special protection, wearing safety gloves and overalls is sufficient. When the dust concentration of sulphur powder in the air is high, self-absorbing filtering dust mask should be worn. In the case of sulphur dust, if skin contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and rinse the skin thoroughly with soapy water or running water. If eye contact occurs, resulting in burning sensation of the cornea of the eye and tearing, flush with running water or saline, and seek medical attention if serious. If inhalation poisoning, let the poisoned person quickly out of the scene to the air circulation, keep the airway open, and call 120 to send medical treatment. In the event of a fire caused by sulphur flakes, use sand to smother small fires and dry powder extinguishers to extinguish large fires. Do not spray the hose directly onto the molten material as this may cause a serious stream fire or cause violent boiling and splashing. Firefighters should wear gas masks and extinguish the fire at a safe distance and upwind.
